Overview:

During this week of work I mainly focused on producing the final products and required steps for my Genius Hour Project. These included filling in information and images for my final product slideshow, figuring out and recording my TED talk and inserting it into and adapting the slideshow template provided and embedding those products in the appropriate pages for my blog.

Final Product Slideshow:

During this week I worked on adapting the information learned throughout the previous weeks to my final products referring back to my previous blog posts, editing and inserting images and information into the Google Slideshow that I created in Week 4 and adapting the structure several times as I grew the presentation. Additionally I used the below image as a background for the presentation. The slide text is a little small for the embed size that works well in Google Blogger so viewing it in full-screen mode is recommended. Please find the Final Product slideshow at this link or by navigating the pages in the header above.

TED Talk:

During this week I worked on creating my TED talk. I used the provided template but replaced the bitmojis with my bitmoji, downloaded from the Bitmoji Chrome extension, I used removebg to remove the backgrounds of the bitmojis. I then worked on recording my TED talk on vocaroo, I tried to talk through my project and what I learned in each category though I am not very comfortable recording myself talk but managed to get a usable audio clip on the third recording iteration. The recording ended up being around eight minutes rather than five which was a little long but I wasn't sure how to get it to be shorter without cutting important information. I then had to edit the embed HTML for the presentation to allow ten minutes per slide so the presentation would not advance faster than my audio clip so the presentation should be manually advanced by the user. Please find the TED Talk slideshow at this link or by navigating the pages in the header above.
